The cross country team had an impressive showing Wednesday afternoon as the Crusaders concluded their regular season by running past St. Joe's, 24-31, in the rivals' only meeting of the season.
The top five for Canisius at a muddy Como Lake Park in Lancaster were:

Noecker and Schoenberger finished 1-2 in 18:43 and 18:49, respectively, with Huddy, Galvin and Saleh finishing 6-7-8 to push the Crusaders past the Marauders.
Canisius entered the week ranked as the
No. 9 large school in Western New York in
Matthew Cady's first year coaching the Marauders.
Canisius's next meet is back at Como Lake Park for the All-Catholic Championships on Nov. 7.
The New York State Federation Championships are Nov. 20 at Bowdoin Park in Wappingers Falls.
