The Crusaders rugby team, coming off its first-ever undefeated regular season, is the No. 1 seed at this weekend's state tournament at Siena College.
Canisius, which went 6-0 this spring, will play Rye in Saturday's 1 p.m. Tier 1 semifinal; Sunday's consolation and championship begin at 10 a.m. Xavier of New York City and Corning will meet in Saturday's other semifinal.
Nick Marchese '22 (Army) and
Alex Manka '22 (South Carolina) will go on to play collegiate rugby while several other Crusader seniors intend to play next year as well.
