Battling injuries and the elements, the CHS Cross Country team moved to 4-2 on the season with a win against St. Mary's of Lancaster (22-33) and a loss to Nichols (36-19).
Through wind, rain, and early autumn chill at the Gow School, the team fought for every point, led by
Vincent Misterkiewicz '24, who finished fifth overall, and
Jack Ganci '25, who finished seventh overall with a personal record of 19:19.
Other scores included
Hector Gitego '25 and
Tommy Sheehan, who had a PR time of 20:02.
Aidan Rivera '27 returned to the lineup to close out the scoring with a PR time of 20:08.
Peter Kooshoian '24 set a new PR of 21:28 and
Quinn Spurlock '27 set a new PR of 25:28.
Next up for the Crusaders is the Lake Shore Sunset Stampede Invitational on Friday, Oct. 20 under the lights of Evangola State Park.
