The Crusader Track & Field team took on all other Monsignor Martin schools this weekend in events spanning both Saturday and Sunday. Despite a wet-weather start to the event, the sun came out Sunday along with several top performances from the team.
Braden Dunn '23 completed his high school career and led the team in points with a 2
nd place finish in the 100M (11.62sec), a 3
rd place finish in the 200M (23.82sec), and a 4
th place finish in the Long Jump (19'10").
Relays also brought in the points. The 4x100M relay (Domenico Callocchia '24,
Dylan McCarthy '25,
Brian Lin '24, and
Braden Dunn '23) team took 3
rd overall with a season record time of 46.28sec. The 4x400M relay (
Brayden Harbold '25,
Bradley Saleh-McDermott '24,
Owen Conley '24, and
Petros Kollidas '24) took 5
th overall with a season-record time of 3min 48sec. The 4x800M relay team (
Eli Noecker '23,
Dylan Vaughn '26,
Andrew Rubino '23, and Nate Pantano '25) took 4
th overall with a season best 9min 23sec.
Hector Gitego '25 took 6
th in the 2-mile with a time of 12min 6sec.
In the field events,
Ryan Stravino '24 took 6
th in the Discus with a throw of 102ft 7in.
