The early autumn sun hovered above Lake Erie Friday evening as Cross Country competed in the Lake Shore Sunset Stampede Invitational.

Sixteen of eighteen runners delivered personal records as they defeated teams from St. Francis, Starpoint, City Honors, and Lake Shore.

Captain Aidan Rivera '27 led the team with a career personal record of 17:27 and captured eighth overall (out of 175 runners).

Brody Campbell '29 placed 13th with a PR time of 17:45, Syd Pratt '28 placed 23rd with a PR time of 18:01, and Quinn Spurlock '27 topped last week's career PR time at 18:47.

Vincent Landori '29 rounded out the scoring with a PR time of 19:20.

Jackson Polino '28 also set a career PR time of 19:43. 

Garrett Flaherty '29, Alex Teegarden '29, Wyatt VanTine '27, Connor Dickerson 29', Peter McGrath '27, Eoin Stodolka '29, William Cavanaugh '28, Charlie Cannon '29, Glick Kyah '27, and Carter Ostrowski '28 all delivered PR times. 

The Crusaders will face off against Nichols School on Wednesday at 4:45 p.m. at Como Lake Park.
