The Crusaders golf team continued its strong start to the season with an outstanding performance at a top-notch midseason tournament as well as a win this week over rival St. Joe's.
The Crusaders competed in the prestigious Patrick Kloecker Invitational at the Country Club of Meadville hosted by Pennsylvania power Cathedral Prep.
Led by Joey Bueme, who shot 5-under-par, the Crusaders placed second out of 17 teams, with a total team score of 23-over-par.
On Tuesday, the Crusaders rolled past rival St. Joe's with a 32-shot victory, 179-211.
Joey Bueme shot a 33,
Charlie Gibson shot a 34,
Halim Habib shot a 35 and
Evan Mitskovski shot a 38.
Next up for the Crusaders is a match against Nichols at 4 p.m. Wednesday at the Country Club of Buffalo.
