The Crusaders Tennis team started the season 3-0 with wins over Nichols, Park, and St. Joe's.
The Crusaders defeated Nichols 3-2 in the first match of the season. The win was the first for the graduating seniors.
The players of the match were
Ryan Egnatchik '28 of Lake View and
Jack Richards '28 of Buffalo, who came up clutch in the tiebreaker with a 13-11 win.
Other wins came from
Gary Hall '26 of Lewiston and
Evan Reyda '27 of Orchard Park, and
Gabe Bluemle '28 of Amherst and
Brody Murray '26 of Niagara Falls.
The Crusaders then defeated Park on Saturday 3-2.
Players of the match were
Rocco Hall '28 of Lewiston and
Brody Murray.
Egnatchik and Richards also put up a dominate performance.
The Crusaders defeated rival St. Joe's 4-1 on Monday.
Singles get back on track with
Connor Jackson '26 of Williamsville finding his stride and Bluemle getting a win in a 2 hour marathon. Egnatchik and Richards clinch while
Gary Hall and Reyda stay consistent.
Player of the match was
Gabe Bluemle.
