Canisius Soccer lost a defensive battle with defending Section V (Rochester area) champion McQuaid Jesuit.

On a cold and windy Buffalo afternoon, McQuaid found the back of the net within the first three minutes.

The Crusaders were able to regroup after the first goal and played stout defense for the remaining 77 minutes but could not find an equalizer. 

The Crusaders close out the regular season on the road against Monsignor Martin Athletic Association opponent Nichols on Wednesday, Oct. 11 at 4 p.m.
