Upperclassmen star as No. 1 Crusaders roll to 13th win in 14 games

CHS Basketball celebrated its seniors Tuesday night: Luke Granto '23 of Lockport, Shane Cercone '23 of Buffalo and Koch Akuey '23 of Buffalo.

The upperclassmen were spotlighted with their families before the game, then they starred in a 90-66 victory over Cardinal O'Hara.

Cercone led the Crusaders with 32 points; Granto added 28, including six three-pointers, while Akuey scored seven.

The Crusaders, ranked first among Western New York large schools, have now won 13 of their last 14.

The team's regular season finale is 6:30 p.m. Thursday at Park.
