After a super Saturday for Canisius sports, here comes Championship Monday. 

CHS Hockey and CHS Basketball earned great victories on Saturday to earn their way to rivalry showdowns in the Monsignor Martin Athletic Association championships. 

CHS Hockey will play St. Joe's for the Monsignor Martin Athletic Association hockey championship at 4 p.m. at LECOM Harborcenter. 

CHS Basketball then takes on St. Joe's in the Manhattan Cup final at 8 p.m. at Canisius University's Koessler Athletic Center.

CHS Hockey forced the deciding Game Three of the best-of-three championship series on Saturday afternoon by roaring to a 4-0 lead and a 5-2 win to even the series at 1-1.

A few hours later, CHS Basketball made the impactful plays in overtime as it defeated St. Mary's, 47-44, in the Manhattan Cup semifinals as the Crusaders and coach Kyle Husband '96 earned the program's 15th trip to the championship game in the last 20 years.
