The 99th meeting of Western New York's most storied rivalry saw Canisius win in a rout to tie up the all-time rivalry series for the first time in decades.
The Crusaders dominated St. Joe's, 49-7, on Koessler Field in front of a standing-room-only crowd of thousands at Robert J. Stransky Memorial Athletic Complex.
CHS tied the all-time series with St. Joe's at 48-48-3, the first time the series has been tied since 1987.
The Crusaders have won 18 of the last 19 games, including the last eight.

The Crusaders' began the best high school football schedule in Western New York with three high-quality out-of-state opponents. Still on the schedule is another WNY Game of the Year at Lancaster and a matchup with two-time Monsignor Martin Athletic Association champion St. Francis.
Next week CHS travels to Benedictine in Cleveland, Ohio to take on another tough opponent. The game
will be streamed here.
