CHS Basketball moved to 3-0 in Monsignor Martin Athletic Association play as they bested Nichols 58-51 in close matchup.

Pat Benzer '24 led the Crusaders in first half scoring with 11, but Nichols held a 28-26 lead going into halftime. 

Tied 33-33 in the third quarter, the Crusaders went on an 11-0 run sparked by Nicholas Purdie '25, who drilled a pair of three-pointers and scored 13 total in the frame. Jahyden Clark added three buckets to take his point total to 12. 

Though the score remained tight in the fourth quarter, the Crusaders' stout defense and clutch free throws were deciding factors.
