CHS Bowling came one step closer to defending their regular season championship with a 3-0 win over Bishop Timon-St. Jude.
After an upset loss to St. Joes, St. Francis is now down four games with six to play.
The Crusaders were able to overcome some key early match mistakes and leave no doubt the rest of the way.
High Game of the Match was
Matthew Hassenfratz '24 with a 217, while
Matthew Bernard '24 had high match set with a 586.
CHS JV1 and CHS JV3 both had two great 4-0 wins versus St. Joe's and Timon, while CHS JV2 could only muster one win vs. first-place St. Francis.
JV Players of the Match:
- Carson Kwiatkowski '27 with a high game of 209 and high match set of 576.
- Cole Skowron '27 with a high game of 204.
- Thomas Tran '25 with a high game of 194.
- Ryan Miller '25 with a new high game of 188.
JV has two matches left to their season.
Next up, the Crusaders roll against Cardinal O'Hara tomorrow, Feb. 6 at Abbott Lanes.
Three wins vs O'Hara would clinch the regular season title for the Crusaders.
