Bowling clinches back-to-back MMAA regular season championships

 The current CHS Bowling team continued to a make their own legacy within the Canisius High School program by sweeping Cardinal O'Hara 3-0 to complete their regular season title defense. 

This marks the first time the program has won back-to-back titles since the 1999 through 2001 teams three-peated with two groups of juniors and seniors. 

This junior and senior class now have four total titles, which makes them the group with the most titles in program history. They have the most wins in a two-year span with 81 with three more at stake in the regular season finale Thursday against Bishop Timon-St. Jude.

In JV action, CHS JV2 gave a battle to St. Francis in hopes of catching up to the first place Red Raiders, but the comeback fell just short and split the series 2-2.

CHS JV1 and CHS JV3 swept their matches 4-0 vs St. Joe's and Timon.

JV Crusaders of the Day:
- Jack Daughton '24 with a high game 222 and a 549 set.
- Michael Masci '24 with a high game of 200.
- Eddie Quinn '24 with a 193 high game and 540 set.
- Thomas Tran '25 with a high game of 193
- Cole Skowron '27 with a high game of 196 and set of 533
- Carson Kwiatkowski '27 with a high game of 203 and 543 set

Next up, all four bowling teams are in action for their last regular season matches on Thursday, Feb. 8 at Classic Lanes
