CHS Soccer opened its league schedule with a dominating performance as it beat St. Francis, 9-1, on Koessler Field at the Stransky Complex. 

Multiple Crusaders found the back of the net, but Jonas Coerdt '26 led the the way with his first three goals in blue and gold.

Coerdt is one of several students from Dortmund, Germany attending Canisius this academic year as part of the annual partnership between CHS and Dortmund.

Ethan Manley '25 scored twice and had two assists.

Zachary Bonuito '25 had two goals and one assist.

Noah Cosgrove '26 and Giacomo Pili '25 each had one goal of their own.

Constantine Santacrose '25 and Zachary Bonuito '25 led the way on defense with seven steals each.

The Crusaders next travel to the greater Syracuse area to face Liverpool on Friday, Sept. 13 followed by a match against Baldwinsville on Saturday, Sept. 14.
