Arno Mbayio '26 of CHS Football was named to the All-Western New York Character First Team by the outstanding Cross Training Athletics organization.

Mbayio, a captain and standout linebacker from Buffalo, was honored at CTA's annual Heart of a Champion banquet held recently at Ilio DiPaolo's Restaurant in Blasdell.

The CTA's Heart of a Champion program, which features weekly winners throughout the season, recognizes student-athletes for outstanding character, focusing on attributes like love, service, leadership and perseverance.

Mbaiyo was a first-team All-WNY selection at linebacker on 2024. He suffered a season-ending knee injury this year.
