Squash heads to Philadelphia for Nationals

The Crusaders Squash team is in Philadelphia this weekend for the team's annual trip to the United States High School Team Squash Championships at the Arlen Specter US Squash Center.

The Crusaders will begin competition this afternoon at 2 p.m. against Episcopal High School of Alexandria, Virginia. Matches continue Saturday and Sunday.

Here is this year's Crusader contingent at nationals (left to right):

The top three singles entrants for Canisius in today's first match are Richards, Bruce and Siddiqui.

Bruce, Mercurio, Siddiqui, Burke, Cassety and Hoffman were part of last year's nationals squad for CHS.

Canisius had another successful season under coach Steve Joyce which included a 7-2 Senior Night victory over St. Joe's.
