Declan Ryan '22 had a historic season for Canisius, and the list of his accolades and awards for his and his teammates accomplishments continues to grow. Previously named Keenan Classic MVP, CHSAA State Championship MVP, Centercourt Classic MVP, and Burger King Classic All-Tournament, Ryan earned many awards throughout the Crusader' state championship season. He has also garnered several post-season honors, including:

Monsignor Martin All-Catholic Player of the Year
New York State Sportswriters Class A Player of the Year
Centercourt MVP

Ryan's latest honor was announced on Mother's Day as he was named The Buffalo News as the Allen Wilson Player of the Year, becoming the fourth Crusader to claim the award (Darren Fenn '97, Adam Weir '13, and Stafford Trueheart '16).
