The varsity volleyball team came away with a 3-1 victory over rival St. Joe's by the scores of 19-25, 25-17, 25-20 and 25-21. Setter Matthew Marusza '23 was outstanding quarterbacking the Crusader offense with 41 assists and consistently confusing the Marauder block. On the offensive side, outside hitter Jacob Ackerman '23 was a force, registering 25 kills and adding 13 digs. Aaron Jones '24 also added 11 kills.

Connor Devans '23 was strong at the net with 6 blocks and 6 kills, and Liam O'Keefe '24 and Lucas Collins '24 were excellent in serve receive and defense.  

The JV Crusaders also won their match, defeating St. Joe's 2-1 with an especially strong third set.

With the victory, Canisius remains undefeated in league play. Congratulations to the varsity Crusaders on an excellent performance and gritty win!
