Canisius Volleyball extended its Monsignor Martin Athletic Association record to 5-2 with convincing win at St. Francis on Wednesday in its first match since returning from the Jesuit Classic in Puerto Rico.
The Crusaders swept the Red Raiders, 25-22, 25-10, 25-17.
Aaron Jones '24 led the way with 13 kills and two aces.
Liam O'Keefe '24 had 10 kills out of 13 attempts as well as 11 digs and three aces.
Logan Unger '25 had 30 assists three kills and a team season-high eight aces.
Next up for the Crusaders is a nonleague road match against Lockport on Friday, Oct. 24.
The Crusaders last week were in San Juan, Puerto Rico to compete against Loyola Blakefield of Maryland, Colegio San Ignacio of Puerto Rico and McQuaid Jesuit of Rochester in the Jesuit Classic. CHS finished fourth in what is the only Jesuit volleyball tournament in the country. It began in 2018, and schools take turns hosting the tournament.
