Canisius dropped a marathon five-set match to St. Joe's, who took the win with a 15-13 fifth-set victory. 

The Crusaders and the Marauders fought back and forth with the Marauders prevailing, 23-25, 27-25, 21-25, 25-18, 15-13.

Crusader setter Logan Unger '25 led the squad with 50 assists, 19 digs, four kills and an ace.

Aaron Jones '24 had 19 kills and nine digs.

Liam O'Keefe '24 had 18 digs, 10 kills and three aces.

Ben Czora '24 added 10 kills. 

Next up for the Crusaders is a road trip to the Rochester suburb of Penfield were they will compete in the Penfield Volleyball Tournament on Saturday, Oct. 7.
