Federation Hockey kicked off its season in the Williamsville North Tournament held at Amherst's Northtown Center. 

The Crusaders defeated Syracuse City, 5-1.

Canisius Scoring

Period 1:
- Jack Daigler '25 found the back of the net for the first Crusader goal of the season with assists from Jackson Deet '25 and Nic Zivis '24 (15:45).
- Tyler Stofer '25 scored the second goal unassisted (10:00).

Period 2:
- Jackson Deet '25 opened up the scoring in the second period with assists from Jack Daigler '25 and Tyler Stofer '25 on a power play (11:18).
- Ben Boersma '24 scored a short handed goal with an assist from Mikey LaCivita '24 (1:34).

Period 3:
- Mikey LaCivita '24 scored with an assist from Brian Kowalow '25 (14:41).

Goalie Ryan Seereiter '24 recorded a save percentage of 92.9%.

The Crusaders continue play in the Williamsville North Tournament tomorrow at the Northtown Center against Williamsville North at 1 p.m.
