CHS Volleyball bounced back from some early-season bumps by surging to a championship at one of the area's most prestigious tournaments. 

The Crusaders won a tournament hosted by one of Western New York's top programs, knocking off St. Joe's and Clarence on their way to the East Aurora Tournament championship on Saturday.

The Crusaders began the day in pool play going 2-0-1, splitting matches with West Seneca East and taking two matches from both Lancaster and Hutch Tech.

Advancing to the Gold Bracket, the Crusaders defeated Victor of Section V (Rochester area) in the quarterfinals in two sets, defeated St. Joe's in two sets in the semifinals, and beat a highly regarded Clarence squad in three sets in the tournament final.

Logan Unger '25 was named Tournament MVP while Liam O'Keefe '24 and Aaron Jones '24 were named to the All-Tournament Team.

Next up for the Crusaders is a Monsignor Martin Athletic Association match at Cardinal O'Hara on Tuesday at 6:30pm.
