9/21/2023 4:36:00 PM

CHS Volleyball is on a roll.

The Crusaders made it seven straight set victories as they swept a tough nonleague match with vising Lancaster Wednesday.

The Crusaders routed Lancaster, 25-13, 25-15, 25-19, at Bernard J. Kennedy '49 Field House.

"It was a complete team win tonight," said coach Angelo Calabrese '00. "Lots of work left for us to achieve our goals, but everyday we get better."

After winning last weekend's East Aurora Invitational, Canisius has swept Cardinal O'Hara and Lancaster.

Individually, Liam O'Keefe '24 led the team in kills (nine) and digs (16). He also had two aces.

Logan Unger '25 led the team with 24 assists and also contributed with four aces.

Dylan Leong '25 and Kellen Palmer '24 had six and five kills, respectively.

The Crusaders return to Monsignor Martin Athletic Association play with a home match against the visiting Cardinal O'Hara Hawks Friday at Bernard J. Kennedy '49 Field House.
