CHS Volleyball dropped it's first home match of the season in a tremendous back-and-forth five-set match against Clarence, the top-ranked team in Western New York.
The Crusaders fell to the Red Devils, 25-22, 18-25, 25-20, 16-25, 12-15, at
Bernard J. Kennedy '49 Field House.
"I have nothing but positive things to say about how hard this team played," said Head Coach Angelo Calabrese '00. "It was an extremely hard fought match. It could have gone either way, but a couple balls just didn't roll our way."
Dylan Leong '25 led the Crusaders with 12 kills and he recorded 14 digs.
Griffin Zgoda '25 had 10 kills while Tristan Kolek '27 recorded eight.
Logan Unger '25 made 14 digs.
Next up, the Crusaders head to East Aurora to face the Blue Devils in a non-league match tonight, Sept. 18, at 7pm.
