Eric Gioia '25 won 95% of his faceoffs and Canisius allowed only one goal in the second half to win their first major Monsignor Martin Athletic Association matchup of the season, 7-4, over visiting St. Francis on Monday.

Braxton Kilgour '26 of Niagara Falls had two and Gioia of Buffalo also contributed a goal and two assists on Koessler Field at the Stransky Memorial Complex.

Cameron Gallagher '25 of the Town of Tonawanda added a goal while Chris Sweeney '26 of Ridgeway, Ontario and Dan Sugg '25 of Lancaster each had an assist.
