Seven CHS Track & Field athletes qualified for the New York State Catholic High School Athletic Association championships at Icahn Stadium on Randall's Island in Manhattan this past weekend.
The top performances were by
Aidan Rivera '27 of Orchard Park in the steeplechase with a 32-second PR of 11 minutes, 12 seconds.
Quentin Littleton '28 of Buffalo ran a PR in the 200 of 11:84 seconds.
There were great performances by
Syd Pratt '28 of Kenmore who ran a 4:53 in the mile,
Muhammed Cisse '28 of Niagara Falls who ran a :55.00 in the 400 and
Caden Walker '27 of Hamburg jumped 38 feet, 11 inches in the triple jump.
The Crusaders had a strong regular season under first-year coach Sarah Lewalski and finished fourth in the All-Catholic Championships.
