On Saturday, CHS Hockey defeated Monsignor Martin Athletic Association opponent St. Mary's, 4-1.

This matchup was the second meeting between these two teams; both resulted in Crusader victories. The Crusaders will face the Lancers once more on Feb. 4 to complete the regular season series. 

The Crusaders are now 4-1-2 in MMAA play which puts them a half of game behind frontrunner Bishop Timon-St. Jude. 

Game Overview

The Crusaders played a complete team game that had 11 different skaters registering a point and five total penalty kills. 

The Crusaders outshot the Lancers by nine and goalie Tyler Bridge '25 posted a 96% save percentage.

Period 1:
- Jacob Crane '25 found the back of the net to open up scoring with assists from Luke Borysak '26 and Kevin Bridge '25 (4:08).
- Jack Daigler '25 extend the lead to two with assists from Jackson Deet '25 and Brian Kowalow '25 (3:06).

Period 3:
- Aaron Eberhard '24 scored with an assist from Austin McMullen '24 (12:25).
- Nic Zivis '24 scored the final goal of the contest with assists from Jack Vento '24 and Lucas Dembski '24 (1:52).

Next Up, the Crusaders will have an opportunity to take the regular season series against MMAA rival St. Joe's as the two will square off on Monday, Jan. 22 at Harborcenter.
