STATE CHAMPIONS!
The Crusaders Hockey team dominated the state Catholic championship game, beating Long Island's Chaminade, 4-1, Saturday afternoon at LECOM Harborcenter.
The Crusaders followed their Monsignor Martin Athletic Association championship win over St. Joe's by taking a 1-0 lead after one period, 4-0 after two, and got another outstanding performance from goalie (and MVP)

David Barczak '26 of Orchard Park scored the first goal.
In the second period,
Max Spencer '27 of Amherst,
Carter Bridge '27 of North Tonawanda, and
Sean Whelehan '27 of North Tonawanda each scored one goal to push the lead to 4-0.
Grillo finished the game with 29 saves.
