Hockey's comeback comes up short against St. Joe's

CHS Federation Hockey dropped a typically tight matchup against Monsignor Martin Athletic Association rival St. Joe's, 3-2, at LECOM Harborcenter.

Game Overview

The Marauders jumped out to an early lead scoring off the opening faceoff. The Crusaders responded with a Jack Daigler '25 goal to go into the second period tied at one. 

The Marauders scored two goals within the final three minutes of the second period to jump out to a 3-1 lead. 

The Crusaders started to gain momentum in the third period as they cut the lead to one with a Kevin Bridge, Jr. '25 goal from the top of the red circle. The Crusaders continued to apply pressure to close the third period. 

Canisius goalie Tyler Bridge '25 played a solid game in the crease totaling 27 saves.

- Jack Daigler '25 scored with assists from Braden Griffin '25 and Henry Richards '24 (9:40).

Period 3:
- Kevin Bridge, Jr. '25 scored with assists from Brian Kowalow '25 and Jack Daigler '25 (4:51).

Next up, The Crusaders will play a nonconference game against Hamburg Friday, Jan. 26 at Hamburg Town Arena.
