The Crusaders Sailing team won the Allstate Sugar Bowl Great Oaks Regatta in New Orleans this past weekend. 

The Crusaders managed a light win on Day 1, sailing consistently, which placed them in the Silver Fleet.

On Day 2, strong tactics and mechanics prevailed the minimal breeze, and led to the decisive 8 point Crusaders win. 

The regatta was sailed by Charlie Marynowski '26, Matt Murad '26, and Will Emblidge '27. 

The regatta was a great opportunity to sail against teams from all over the country. The Crusaders also improved upon their score from last year's regatta, moving from second overall to first, and by a significant 8-point margin. 

The Crusaders Sailing team's fall season has come to an end. The Crusaders will be back in action for the spring season in late February in Corpus Christi, Texas.
