It was a sun filled breezy day on Saturday, April 19th at the Rochester Yacht Club where the Crusaders Sailing team had a near perfect set of 8 races by the A and B fleets, beating out a field of teams that included West Irondequoit and Southwestern Central in the High School Sailing Regional Qualifiers.

The Crusaders edged out the second place, West Irondequoit Eagles by 10 points. The A Team Skipper/Crew was Charlie Marynowski '26 of Buffalo, Corban Burke '27 of Grand Island and the B Team Skipper/Crew was Matt Murad '26 of Buffalo , Will Emblidge '27 of Buffalo. 

The Crusaders had 2 teams at this qualifier. The second team was skippered by Jacob Barney '27 of Angola and Alex Emblidge '29 of Buffalo. Their crew included Colton Davis '27 of Hamburg, Gavin Gatti '27 of Fort Erie, ON and Cole Skowron '27 of Buffalo. 

Next up, Coach Liam Faudree and the A team head to MASSA 2026 Gold Championships at Severn Sailing Association in Annapolis, MD on May 9-10.
