Hall of Fame
Brendan has fond memories of great times with his Cross Country and Track teammates and coaches. He especially remembers science teacher, Mr. Rotella, Greek teacher, Fr. Ryan and math teacher Mr. Hohn. Among Brendan's many accomplishments in cross country is a 1st place finish in the all-Catholic meet, in at 12:18 7, winning the McQuaid Invitational and receiving All-State honorable mention. In track, he set the CHS school record in the 2 mile with a time of 10:03 and placed 1st in the Erie County Junior Olympic 880 with a time of 2:00.Â
Brendan also found success as a 4-year varsity cross country and track athlete for Miami University, Oxford, Ohio. Â He continued his winning ways after college, placing in the top 10 in every major mountain running race in Colorado and in the US National Orienteering championships.Â
