Don Harter was noted for his two handed "swish" set shot in basketball. In baseball, Don had extraordinary ability to run down any ball in the outfield. Not only an outstanding athlete but also senior class Vice President.
Don continued his education at Canisius College where he graduated from in 1953.Â
Dan and his wife Marianne had two children, Kim and Dan and four grandchildren; Chris '01, Matt, Jennifer and Chrissy and three great-grandchildren, Gabriel, Alexander, Ashley.Â
Don worked at Dunlop Tire where he was a Vice President of Manufacturing. As a retiary, Don served and was very active on the Canisius High School Alumni Board of Governors. Â
