Hall of Fame
The Canisius High School tennis teams prospered in the 1980s, winning several championships. Jon Udwadia and his brother, Jamie '86, were instrumental to that success, flourishing under the direction of their mother, Karen, the team's coach. Jon served the team as captain for three years, earned first singles All-Catholic honors, and was tapped as Most Valuable Player of the Crusaders net team.
Jon went on the play first singles and doubles at Canisius College, winning MAAC League titles. Jon subsequently earned his medical degree from the University of Buffalo.Â
Jon is now a physician in Athens, Georgia.
