Hall of Fame
Chris Barry was one of the most compete athletes of his generation. As a sophomore he was a member of the three championship varsity teams, volleyball, basketball and baseball. Focusing on basketball and baseball as a junior and senior he was the consummate teammate whose effort and leadership elevated the play of everyone around him. Chris' honors at Canisius include the 1999 Mr. Mac award for basketball, the 1999 baseball M.V.P. award and he was honored at graduation as the Athlete of the Year for 1999.
After Canisius, Chris was a four year letterman in baseball at George Washington University serving as captain his junior and senior years and led his team to the 2002 Conference Championship. He served as an Assistant Baseball Coach at Marist College, winning a Conference Championship and served at Canisius College as an Assistant Coach for two years. After earning a Bachelor of Science degree from G.W., Chris earned his Masters in Sports Administration from Canisius College.Â
