Paul was a two-year All-Catholic as a hard running halfback in football and as an outstanding catcher in baseball. . .starred in both sports for four years at the University of Buffalo, from which he graduated with a degree in Health and Physical Education. . .Paul taught and coached in the Kenmore-Town of Tonawanda school system for over 30 years.
