As a senior, Pat had the unusual distinction of being co-captain in football, basketball and baseball. . .chosen by his fellow students as "Mr. Canisius" and "Athlete of the Year" a stalwart end on championship football teams, he was twice All-Catholic. . .on the basketball court he earned the reputation of a rugged rebounder, although he often scored in double figures. . .Pat's imposing stature and qualities of leadership helped him to be an outstanding catcher on Crusader baseball teams. . .at Hobart College he was captain of both the football and lacrosse teams.
