One of the most versatile athletes in Canisius History. . .Paul earned All-Catholic honors in track & field as a long jumper and high jumper, as a running back in football and a guard in basketball. . .earned an athletic/academic scholarship to John Carroll University where he was All-Conference in football for two years and MVP in 1970. . .was captain for the track & field and All-Conference in long jump, high jump and triple jump. . .holds several John Carroll records in both sports, earning him induction into the JCU Sports Hall of Fame in 1988. has been active in coaching professionally and as a volunteer since graduation.
