Hall of Fame
Kevin Keil was one of the best wrestlers in Canisius history. In his first of four varsity seasons, Kevin amassed the most wins in program history by a freshman. He captured his first All-Catholic title as a junior and repeated as an All-Catholic champion in his senior season. He was a regular at the state tournament, and as a senior, Keil went on to win a New York State Catholic High School Athletic Association championship. He also won a CHSAA Ironman Award for finishing in the top six in the state each of his four years at Canisius. He is one of only 12 CHS wrestlers to win a state championship and one of only three to win the Ironman Award. Keil was named the Monsignor Martin Athletic Association's Wrestler of the Year in 2003 - one of only two Crusaders to earn that award. As of 2021, he stands fourth on Canisius' all-time wins list.
