A member of a renowned Canisius family, Bill was a hard-driving running back on two of the Crusader elevens that helped put together the record setting 43 game unbeaten streak. He set a Catholic League record by rushing for more than 1200 yards in his senior year when he earned All-Catholic honors. Bill was equally proficient in basketball and swimming, but chose to pursue the latter sport, helping Canisius win two league titles. He resides in Buffalo with his wife Susan. They have one daughter and one son.
