Brian Keenan was the most prolific scorer in Canisius Basketball History. He was a four year varsity letterman who set the school scoring record in February of his senior season in front of a packed house in the Canisius Auditorium. This record stood for 24 years. Brian helped lead Canisius to three Manhattan Cup Championships in 1996, 1997, and 1998. He was a fearless competitor whose determination and grit helped lead his teams to a 30-1 record at home. His individual honors include 1st Team All-WNY in 1998 and 1999 and 1st Team All-Catholic 1997, 1998, and 1999. He earned 10th Team All-State as a sophomore, 4th Team All-State as a junior and 2nd Team All-State as a senior. He was recognized by USA Today as an Honorable Mention All-American in 1998 and 1999. Adidas Blue Ribbon Magazine named Brian an All-American in 1999 and he was a McDonald All-American Nominee as a senior.

Following graduation Brian studied and played basketball for the University of Buffalo and Damen College.
