Although skeptical at first, Frank is happy that he didn't follow his brothers to Bishop Fallon. Frank's fondest CHS memory is walking off the field after beating DeSales 32 to 12 in the championship game. As the quarterback of the undefeated team, in that golden era, Frank threw 7 touchdown passes, was named All-Catholic by both newspapers, and was awarded the honor of participating in the Lion's Club All-Star Game. In baseball, he led the Catholic league in hitting with a .470 batting average in his senior year, and again was named All-Catholic in both papers.
