Hall of Fame
John played baseball for three years primarily as a pitcher for Canisius High School. On track for three years, John excelled at shot put and discus. John played basketball for all four years at Canisius and football under coach Bus Werder where he played offensive tackle and defensive end. During his junior, John was selected for the All-Catholic team and first team All-Western New York.Â
After Canisius, John Played four years of football for Cornell and lettered three of those years playing offensive tackle.Â
John has coached for nine years in the Hingham Youth Football program and was elected to the Board of Directors of the Cornell Football Association. John participated in the Master level USA Track and Field shot putting events, placing 4th in the 2004 National Indoor Championships.Â
