Paul's dad, Al, was John Barnes' predecessor as coach of these sports at Canisius. . .Paul inherited his dad's all-around athletic savvy. . .earned All-Catholic honors as a first baseman and a play-making guard in basketball. . .CO-captain of the 1957 Manhattan Cup championship cage team. . .elected by his fellow CHS students as the most representative athlete in the senior class. played three sports at Canisius College from which he holds a Bachelor's degree. . .did graduate work at Cornell, Syracuse and SUNY-Albany. . .retired after 31 years with the New York State Labor Department as a labor relations consultant. . .Paul and his wife Patricia have 2 boys and 2 girls.
