Charles "Chuck" Zernentsch earned ten varsity letters at Canisius: four in Swimming, three in baseball, two in football and one in track. Chuck was on the first team All-Catholic in Swimming, second team All-Catholic in Football, Track and Baseball. 

At Canisius College, Chuck earned a Varsity letter in Baseball as a sophomore. Chuck received an Engineering Degree from the University of Detroit which led to 32 years of employment with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
