Mike Lawley follows his older brother, Bill, into the Canisius High School Sports Hall of Fame. A flashy skater on the ice, he continued his hockey career at St. Bonaventure University.

On the baseball diamond, Mike was an outstanding catcher and team leader, playing a major role in the Crusaders' Georgetown Cup victory over Timon in the first high school baseball game ever played at Pilot Field. 

Today Mike is an insurance executive who devotes much of his time to the United Way, Sister Hospital, youth hockey, and other community organizations.
